The MiALA Instruction and Information Literacy Interest Group partners with local institutions to host MIX, or Michigan Instruction Exchange, conferences on a biannual basis.
MIX began at the University of Michigan Libraries' Instructor College in 2012 and immediately impacted the library instruction landscape. At these conferences, academic, public, school, and other instructional librarians from across the state are invited to participate in meaningful, relevant, and emerging conversations about information literacy and library instruction.
2014 -- Grand Valley State University, Allendale, MI
2012 -- University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI
