<h3>MI OER Summit Registration now open</h3>Michigan Colleges Online is pleased to announce the 2018 MI OER Summit - a gathering of OPEN enthusiasts and those who are interested and eager to learn, network and advocate.<br />

This year's event is hosted by St. Clair County Community College (Port Huron, MI) at the Fine Arts Theatre on September 21, 2018.<br />
<br />
Our keynote for the Summit is Dr. Chris Gilliard, Professor of English and Rhetoric, Macomb Community College; Faculty, 2018 Digital Pedagogy Lab, University of Mary Washington - who will speak on &quot;Interrogating Access: Privacy, Equity and Open Education&quot;.<br />
<br />
Additionally, the Summit will have 18 sessions that range from how to start using OER to building a complete program using OER, launching an OER initiative, assessing OER and faculty experiences with OER - plus the peer group luncheon!<br />

Who Should Attend: All OPEN advocates and supporters - such as:<br />
Faculty interested in OER and those using OER in their classes<br />
Librarians involved in campus OER initiatives<br />
